The touring YTCA team defeated Benwell Hill CC in an Under 13 cricket match played at the Benwell Hill Cricket Ground in Newcastle. Batting first , YTCA made 117 for 5 in 20 overs. Rahul Nambiar made a fine 32 while Rithik Israni made 16 and Adil Ali made 12.   In reply Benwell Hill scored 98 for 8 in 20 overs. B Hynes scored 32 and R Gori scored 30. Aneesh Vasudevan took 3 for 13 and Rahul Vishwanath took 2 for4 while Karan and Abhinav took 2 wicket each.

In another 2 day game played at the Marsden CC , the Under 19 team put up  a fine performance beating Marsden Cricket Club by an innings and 93 runs.

Marsden CC batted first and were skittled out for 79. Rahul Bhatia took 3 for 16 while Priyadarshan took 2 wickets. Sairaj and Siddhant took 1 wicket each.

Batting first, YTCA raced to a total of 299 in 70 overs. Sairaj and Kiran scored 40 runs each and were well assisted by Rahul Bhatia who scored a fine 30. All the other batsman played useful knocks.

Needing 220 to avoid an innings defeat, Marsden were all out for 127runs. C Mann and M Elliott scored 21 each but the other batsmen fell cheaply. Siddhant Jhurani and Shashwik Shetty took 3 wickets each while Rahul Bhatia, Joel John , Vishakh Chandrasekhar. Abrar Khazi took 1 wicket each.
