The YTCA Under 19 and the Under 16 teams won the inaugural T20 Tournament played at the  South Shields Cricket Club in Durham.

In the Under 16 final, YTCA were put into bat and scored 148 in their allotted 20 overs. Bharath Srinivasan top scored with a fine 59 In reply , South Shields were bundled out for 89 by some accurate bowling by the YTCA bowlers. Priyadarshan and Joel took 1 wicket each while Rahul Bhatia , Siddhant and Abhishek took 2 wickets.

 In the Under 19 final, YTCA batted first and were able to score 160 runs in their 20 overs. Abrar Khazi scored a fine 52 while Sairaj scored 40.  In reply, South Shields could manage 10 runs. Vishakh, Vaibhav, Sairaj, Priyadarshan and Rahul Bhatia were the main wicket takers for YTCA.

In another tour match against Washington CC, YTCA Seniors successfully chased a target of 215 in 45 overs. Washington CC batted first and had a fine opening partnership of 70 between A Beck who scored 34 and T Colledge who scored a fine 59. J Thompson chipped in with a classy 55 and T Sproatus scored 42. Priyadarshan, Siddhant , Satish and Abrar took the wickets.

In reply, YTCA knocked off the runs in 41 overs with Bharath scoring a fine 58 while Sairaj hit a whirlwind 36 in partnership with Kiran who hit 44 not out.
