YTCA lost to Anfiled CC in a match played at the Anfield Plain in Durham. YTCA won the toss and elected to bat first. Aditya Mavuru scored a fine 41 but YTCA lost two wickets early to the pace bowlers of Anfield. Sairaj hit a fine 50 with 6 fours steadied the innings in partnership with Shobhit Bhatia who scored 30.Skipper Vishakh Chandrasekhar then struck a quick 20 to take YTCA to 194 for 6 off 45 overs.
In reply – Anfield CC struggled against the spin bowling of YTCA and lost some early wickets. Aditya Mavuru took 3 for 24 and Vishakh Chandrasekhar took 2 for 40 but a fine knock of 85 not out by opener Keith Gore took Anfield to victory in the 39th over.
