Kudos to the entire under 13 team of Young Talents Cricket Academy for their spectacular performance in the finals against G-force, which has made the team champions of the SCC Inter-Academy Under-13 tournament for the second consecutive year held under the auspices of Emirates Cricket Board and conducted by Sharjah Cricket Council at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Some of the remarkable performances in the finals by Fahad Nawaz- 16runs and 3wickets, Ali Mirza – 7runs and 1wicket, Sparsh Hegde(Lara ) – 17runs, Osama – 14 notout and Aryan Lakra and Nakul – 1wicket each, led to the teams victory and made them UAE  U-13 cricket champions for 2012-2013. Nakul, has always proved himself in every match  as the opening wicket taker. In other matches Ritik, Savio, Vivek, Prajwal, Tahir, Aditya, Hari, Akash and Milind also showed very good performances. Overall, the team has made all the parents and coaches very proud.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents who’ve supported the academy throughout the tournament without whom this tremendous victory could not have been possible. I would also like to thank our head coach Mr. Shezad Altaf for letting our under 13 team to participate in this tournament and my special thanks to Mr.Sunil Israni Director of YTCA and all our coaches – Mr. Tanveer Mahedi, Mr.Taskeen, Mr. Prosanta, Mr. Sanjay, Mr.Parveez, who’ve always been there at every practice sessions, making sure our children received maximum training before the scheduled matches.

This victory couldn’t have been possible without Mr. Harin from the administration department whose worked selflessly for the Academy.

Thanks to the captain Aryan Lakra and vice captain Ritik Sunil for showing great dedication coupled with extraordinary leadership skills that contributed to the teams victory.
Sincere thanks to the Sharjah Cricket Council for conducting this tournament which enabled the children to explore great depths of passion.

I hope our children continue working hard and making the Academy proud with every match/ tournament they win.
