Young Talents Cricket Academy (YTCA), Al Sama Sports, once again takes a step towards their journey of developing the game in the United Arab Emirates with a stunning Capping Ceremony to mark the commencement of the Ramada 5 Nations Trophy – 2016.

 The Ceremony was held at Ramada Hotel & Suits, Ajman and attended by close to 250 young players from UAE, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bahrain and South Africa.

 The ceremony was attended by few legends of UAE Cricket. Chief guests, Shaji Mulk of Ajman Cricket Council, Mazhar Khan of Sharjah Cricket Council, Ifthikar Hamdani of Ramada Hotel and Suits and Geoff Cook of Durham Cricket County UK, addressed the ceremony and highlighted the importance of the development of youth cricket in the UAE and thanked YTCA’s contribution towards it.

Shafiek Jacobs, Head Coach and Manager of South African team said “ceremony is very well organized and gave our players the feeling very close to the international standards”

 “YTCA believes that the youth of UAE has amazing talent that must be given the right platform to excel. We want the budding cricketers to gain high standard match experience and access to state of the art infrastructure and supreme training. 5 Nations Trophy will provide the best of the best players from UAE and around the world the opportunity to represent their nation” said Mahesh Fonseka, Director and senior coach of YTCA – Sama.

 The tournament will run from 22nd to 30th March, Games will be played in U13, U15 and U19 age categories in Durham Ajman and Sharjah International Cricket Stadium.
